Delivery-only RV stays from hosts serving their own destinations.

DELIVERY-ONLY STAYS · HOSTS & GUESTS

Know what covers your stay.

Your host arranges insurance for their rental operation. Any guest enrollment depends on that host's policy and your particular trip. Review the actual documents before agreeing to the rental.

RVsGO.com does not add or collect an insurance fee on any new quote or booking. If eligible renter enrollment is required, the guest applies and pays MBA or the host's licensed provider directly after the provider confirms the delivery-only stay is eligible. Your own quote, signed agreement and issued insurance documents identify your arrangement. Existing reservations keep their agreed fees, payment dates and terms.

Who does what

For guests: before you commit

  1. Review the named host, trailer, delivery location, rental dates, insurer, insured parties, limits, deductibles, exclusions and the insurer’s claims contact. Ask the licensed provider about anything unclear.
  2. If provider-direct enrollment is required, have the provider confirm this delivery-only stay is eligible. Review its price, terms and cancellation/refund rules before buying. An outside premium is separate from the RVsGO.com rental payment.
  3. Complete the application yourself and pay the provider directly. Give the host the issued addendum or other provider-confirmed evidence before occupancy. A quote, checkbox or payment receipt alone does not confirm coverage.
  4. Keep the issued documents and signed booking disclosure. Tell the host about a change to dates, location, occupants or other eligibility facts so any necessary insurer approval can be obtained.

For questions before booking, contact RVsGO.com. The host provides their direct phone number and email privately after reservation confirmation and before delivery. This does not restrict access to the insurer or licensed provider for coverage questions.

The signing guest must meet the listing and insurer's age requirements. An insurer may require an older renter than RVsGO.com's baseline age of 21. Do not assume an age check on the website establishes insurance eligibility.

Different coverage answers different questions

Questions for your licensed insurance provider
CoverageWhat to confirm
Liability to other peopleWhich insured people are protected against which third-party injury or property-damage claims? Confirm the limits, exclusions and whether coverage is primary or excess.
Damage to the rented trailerDoes the actual policy cover this trailer's physical damage or theft? Confirm the VIN, valuation, deductible and excluded causes. Liability-only coverage does not establish trailer damage coverage.
Delivery and the parked stayConfirm coverage for the host's tow vehicle and personnel, delivery, setup, occupied stationary use and collection. A policy for a guest who tows a trailer may not fit a delivered stay.
Personal belongings and injuriesAsk separately about guests' belongings, medical expenses and occupants. Do not assume these are covered by trailer damage or auto liability insurance.
Trip cancellation and interruptionRental cancellation terms and insurance are different. Ask a licensed provider about any separate travel policy, covered reasons, exclusions and refund rules.

Can I buy coverage directly from MBA?

MBA has a renter enrollment option connected to a rental operator's existing MBA policy. Its published trailer addendum describes liability-only coverage, and its trailer renter information discusses guests towing with their own vehicles. Those pages do not establish eligibility for an RVsGO.com delivery-only stay.

Before a host offers this option, MBA or the issuing insurer must confirm in writing that the particular policy, trailer, location, renter and stationary stay are eligible. Any applicable age restriction also needs confirmation. Do not purchase through a generic trailer link on the assumption that it fits your booking.

RVsGO.com does not currently promise an MBA product for every listing. If an eligible option is confirmed, the host supplies the approved provider instructions. Any trailer physical-damage coverage, personal accident coverage, belongings coverage or trip-cancellation policy needs its own confirmation.

Provider information reviewed 2026-10-08. These are information links, not confirmation that you qualify or instructions to purchase.

For hosts: coverage must fit the work you do

Every host provides and maintains their own insurance. RVsGO.com does not insure an outside host's trailer, delivery vehicle, personnel or rental operation, and it does not add a customer insurance fee to the host's quote.

Ask your insurer to confirm paid rentals booked through RVsGO.com, the scheduled trailer, your delivery personnel and tow vehicle, setup, the occupied parked stay and collection. Confirm coverage for subcontracted delivery if used. Personal-use insurance or insurance limited to a different marketplace must not be assumed to cover an RVsGO.com rental.

Provide current policy evidence, the trailer schedule and relevant endorsements for review. Explain coverage, limits, deductibles, exclusions, age rules, claims instructions and any per-trip enrollment in the guest disclosure. A certificate does not expand a policy or automatically make RVsGO.com an additional insured.

You must maintain appropriate liability coverage for the actual rental and delivery work. A separate commercial general liability policy is required when necessary for that risk or by law, your insurer, campground, event or delivery site. Guest-purchased coverage does not replace your own required rental and delivery coverage.

Hosts may not create a separate customer insurance fee. Before a trailer becomes bookable, provide its VIN, registration, ownership or rental authority, insurance evidence and documented inspections for review. Keep dated maintenance and pre-delivery safety records and timestamped delivery/pickup photos.

Report a lapse, cancellation or material change promptly. Missing required coverage prevents new bookings and requires a coordinated review of affected stays. Do not conceal a coverage problem or assume a guest signature resolves it.

What an acknowledgment means

The final booking disclosure should record the documents both host and guest received and reviewed, the selected coverage, exclusions, deductibles, insured parties and dates. Neither party can guarantee a claim will be paid by agreeing that insurance is “enough.” The actual policy and applicable law decide coverage.

Any responsibility or hold-harmless provision must appear in the agreement presented for that booking. It does not expand insurance, bind the insurer or an injured person who did not sign, or excuse RVsGO.com from responsibilities the law does not allow it to waive. Reading this page is not acceptance of a release.

Security authorizations and the reviewed-request process

New bookings only. The reviewed request-and-notice workflow applies only when the new agreement version and exact security schedule are included and accepted before booking. Every existing reservation keeps its recorded deposit or release-only authorization terms; a website change never adds a capture right to an earlier booking.

The separate security authorization is not insurance and is not an automatic charge. For an eligible new booking, an itemized request may cover documented guest-responsible interior damage, extra cleaning, missing supplied items, agreed usage, or another guest-responsible loss expressly excluded by the host's insurance when the signed clause permits it. It is limited to the available authorized amount. An exclusion alone does not make a guest responsible; normal wear, pre-existing damage and host-caused damage are not shifted to the guest.

  1. Host records the return. The host completes pickup before changing or repairing the trailer, uploads distinct interior and exterior pickup photos, and compares them with the delivery photos already saved for that rental.
  2. Host starts the request. For a new booking whose signed schedule includes the reviewed-request workflow, the host submits through the private RVsGO.com pickup page. If the control is unavailable, contact RVsGO.com through the booking channel or customerservice@rvsgo.com. The host does not email a payment demand to the guest, charge the guest directly, or decide how much of the authorization is kept.
  3. Evidence is itemized. The request identifies the exact signed clause, the affected area or item, the amount requested, a reasonable estimate or receipt, and the applicable delivery and pickup evidence. An insurance-excluded loss also needs the carrier decision or policy exclusion supporting that treatment.
  4. RVsGO.com checks the request. RVsGO.com checks that the request fits the signed security terms, stays within the available authorization, includes the required evidence, and does not duplicate insurance or another recovery. This administrative review does not decide insurance coverage or legal fault.
  5. RVsGO.com notifies the guest. The guest receives the itemized request and evidence access from RVsGO.com, not an unreviewed demand from the host. The guest may accept, dispute, or upload additional information. Silence is not acceptance.
  6. Money remains separate. RVsGO.com cannot approve a capture without a recorded customer response. Approval is not proof that a card charge succeeded. Only one processor-confirmed approved amount may be applied, and the remaining authorization is released. Rejection or a no-request closeout releases the full hold.
  7. Large losses use the insurance path. The security authorization is only a limited source for documented interior damage, extra cleaning, missing items, and other losses expressly excluded by the host's policy when the signed rental terms allow it. Amounts above the available authorization, covered losses, deductibles, loss of use, diminished value, and betterment stay outside the automatic security process.

The host starts the request through the private website workflow, or contacts RVsGO.com if the control is unavailable. RVsGO.com sends the formal notice after review. The customer can accept, dispute and upload multiple supporting files. RVsGO.com cannot approve capture without a recorded customer response; silence is never acceptance. Only RVsGO.com can approve one exact amount. A partial capture releases the unused balance, while rejection or a no-request closeout releases the full hold.

If the repair may be costly, the host must still notify RVsGO.com promptly, preserve the trailer and evidence, mitigate further damage, and report the loss to the host's insurer within that policy's deadline. The host should not delay an insurance report while waiting for the security review. The authorization does not guarantee payment and does not increase merely because the repair costs more.

If something happens

Protect people first and call emergency services when needed. Notify your host and the insurer using the contacts and deadlines in your documents; preserve photos and relevant records. RVsGO.com can help locate booking records and handle rental-service questions. The host, guest and insurer handle insurance coverage and claims directly.

Earlier reservations retain their own signed security terms. A later website change does not expand an earlier authorization or create a new charge.
